Affiliate Payment Program
Our affiliate system is pretty easy to understand: When you buy a copy of the Race To Space book, we give you an affiliate link. When someone buys a copy of the book through your affiliate link, we pay you a commission. If someone buys a copy of the book through your referral's link, we will pay you a smaller commission. This continues through five levels:
Your direct referrals are level 1. If someone buys a book using the link given to one of your level 1 referrals, they are your level 2 referrals. As noted above, this repeats through level 5, with a smaller commission at each level:
- Level 1 - 8 %
- Level 2 - 2.5 %
- Level 3 - 2 %
- Level 4 - 1.5 %
- Level 5 - 1 %
When your commissions have reached a total of US$ 10.00, you can request payment of your commissions, or let them continue to accumulate.
When the Race To Space book is published, all outstanding commission payments will be payable on request, without needing to meet the payment threshold requirement.
Prior to receiving any commission payments, you will need to file an IRS income reporting form with us (W-9 for US-based affiliates, W-8BEN for non-US affiliates). If your yearly commission payments exceed the IRS reporting level (currently US$ 500.00), we will have to report your commission income to IRS. (Sorry about that!)
Our affilate commission payment system is currently under construction, being built in phases. The Affilate Dashboard will be progressively more capable. At each step, it will allow you to:
- see how much you have earned (mid-July 2026)
- request payment from the Dashboard (July-early August 2026)
Prior to this you will need to send an email request. - enable automatic funds transfer at your choice of payment threshold level through PayPal (August 2026)
- choose from additional payment options (schedule TBD)
